In 2012, I scanned in hundreds from my mother’s huge crate of them that was likely to get misplaced at some point. The really fantastic thing is I did this early in 2012, and shared the pictures with my sister. She loved looking at the pictures of ancestors and us as kids while she was ill from the cancer and the treatment. Now I can look at the pictures and feel grateful at my timing and effort.
That feeling is enough to get me tackling the even bigger effort of organizing some of the thousands of pictures I’ve taken digitally.
That may take most of 2013, but it can be fun to look at old pictures.
